Merry Christams everyone!

Merry Christmas to one and all in the Scribeslice community. Hope this season of good will brings you and your families peace and joy and happiness. It is a fine day in New Zealand without any snow so I guess Santa would have donned his tee shirt/ shorts and sandals and given his reindeer a good covering of sunblock.

Have a happy safe and joyous Christmas.

SAME TO YOU AND YOURS, LESLIE... I LIVE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE UNITED STATES WHERE, AT THIS TIME, IT IS SUPPOSED TO SNOWY AND FREEZING, HOWEVER AT LAST TEMPERATURE READING IT IS A BALMY 62 DEGREES.

HOPE EVERYONE HERE IN THIS COMMUNITY ARE GOING TO HAVE A JOYOUS AND CREATIVE NEW YEAR...

( and yes I meant to have all CAPS...I am excited about this season and I am hoping that we have better writings from everyone here...I am tired of coming on here every day to find nothing new written. I know we all have our own separate lives--outside of this community but I am very disappointed that something that started with such promise is, now, being wasted).

You are not wrong Len, this site used to be buzzing with all sorts of activity, now it is like an empty stage where once a great play was preformed.

Hope everyone's Christmas was great and that you all have an even better New Year.

I am excited too Leonard and am hoping for a more active scribeslice community with the coming New Year. Blessings to everyone.

@Leslie. Hmmm..."Where Once a Great Play Was Performed"...If you don't mind my saying so...that sounds like a great title for a story. As far as the present state of Scribeslice is concerned...well, one only needs to turn inward to see how one may contribute themselves.I appreciate the fact that I can visit this site at any time of the day whether I am "inspired" or not.In a very real sense, I cannot and will not expect others to fire up my imagination because the essence of creativity must come from within. At any rate, it seems that originality is a dying art. In a world where mimicry is rampant, I can truly say that, I, for one, do salute the " creatively-original"minds of our time.

very good Allen. Hope you enjoyed your Christmas. I'll have to get my A into G and start creating a bit more, I think. The best way for a community like this to dwindle away is for no one to contribute. Luckily I have come up with something to post, so hopefully we can stay alive a little longer.
