Hi Leonard. I just checked the site last night and I agree, there seems to be little or no new activity. The energy is gone.

Hello Hello Hello
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me
Is there anyone at home?
Come on now
I hear you're feeling down
Well I can ease your pain
Get you on your feet again
Relax
I'll need some information first
Just the basic facts
Can you show me where it hurts?
There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying
When I was a child I had a fever
My hands felt just like two balloons
Now I've got that feeling once again
I can't explain you would not understand
This is not how I am
I have become comfortably numb

CINDY,i see you are still here....there is at least that.

LESLIE, i thought you were still here.

glad you both are but for how long.

i tried twice writing to JON PAUL to find out what he was going to do to revitalize this site but i have not received an answer.

i do not know what else to do.

we, three, seem to be the last active members.

I am still here, read but haven't written since most of my writing has to do with school work. I do check in and read but haven't had time to write as I am finishing my degree in Crisis Counseling. Heavy study load, will try to make some comment on works I have read in the next couple of weeks. Sorry all I do love to read your work and I do love Scribeslice.

I am pleased you are still around Deborah. You have given me much well needed advice and stories to read over the years.

there is another person still here.

HELLO, DEBORAH.

it appears the only ones still trying here are the ones that are always here.

The other day upon a stair,
I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today,
I wish that man would go away!

so...LESLIE...does this rhyme(ANTIGONISH by WILLIAM HUGHES MEARNS) mean you are leaving this site as well.

or are you commenting on all those who were here and are not any longer.

No just a silly quote to cheer everyone up. I hope.

"As I was going up the stair
I met a man who wasn't there!
He wasn't there again today,
Oh how I wish he'd go away!"

When I came home last night at three,
The man was waiting there for me
But when I looked around the hall,
I couldn't see him there at all!
Go away, go away, don't you come back any more!
Go away, go away, and please don't slam the door...

Last night I saw upon the stair,
A little man who wasn't there,
He wasn't there again today
Oh, how I wish he'd go away...

Or the old Upside down around the wrong way saga

Up downtown under cover,
Two men drew their swords and shot eachother.
Face to face and back to back,
They both retreated and started to attack.

Heard by a man without any ears,
Accounted by a young man reeling in the years.
And if you think this story is rather Tall,
Go ask the blind man who saw it all!
