HOW IS THE QUESTION?

JON PAUL IS NON EXISTENT.

IT IS AS IF HE JUST STOPPED CARING.

IF THIS IS THE CASE, WHY BUY THE SITE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

ALL I AM GOING TO DO IS USE IT AS A WRITING SITE FOR MYSELF IF THAT IS ALL I AM GOING TO GET.

sorry for all CAPS but i am trying to find out how many are still here that will write.

if i could ...i would seek out others to start to write...anything they wanted. no restrictions, as long as it was not obscene.

the question is...whom do i approach to ask to try.

You have as much right as anyone to ask questions Leonard. Somehow this site lost nearly all of it contributors. I am wondering what started this downward spiral. I remember we had a few nasty people on this site at one time and their comments were fairly negative. Then there was another time this site was one of the most active writing sites on the web. There are no joining or on going subs to speak of and it wasn't as if there wasn't enough contests etc to keep everyone interested.
Its really disappointing that it has come to this.

I love writing and this site to me was the one place I really felt at home. There were so many good writers we've lost over the years. It would be nice to have a writer's reunion so to speak. The problem now seems to be that as there is a lack of people submitting stories etc you can't always depend on getting the feedback you require.
If this is the case then it is not likely we will attract new authors here. Thus it is a bit of a vicious circle I suppose.
Jon Paul's silence is disturbing to say the least, one would at the very least expect him to be a little more proactive with promoting this website. Its as though he's generally lost interest in it.
It's, as Ned Flanders would say, a real humdinger of a melon scratcher what to do with a site like this.

Leslie, it appears that only you, me and Deborah might be the only ones left.

Jon Paul is still allowing this site to be active(because i, you and Deborah can still come here for these discussions)...but why does he not interact? i wonder if this is just a tax write off for Jon Paul.

i wish there was a way to contact Harley but he is long departed.

i have this fear that one day, i will access this site and see 404 ....then what will i do.

as i said there must be something that can be done or is this going to be an empty vessel.

not even the other moderators are interested ....because if they were they would have spoken...

i will keep coming here until i am told it is over.

Hello, Leonard and Leslie, just checking in to see if anyone else has responded. As for me I will hopefully be posting some new work within the next week or so. I also have some reading I have been working on for both of you and hopefully I will post some comments for both of you during that time also.

Kind of discouraging to see are the only three who are responding. I tried to use the contact link at the bottom of the page to send Jon Paul a message about possibly entering into a discussion with the 3 of us but could get the send link to work. Maybe, if you are willing one of you could try the link.

DEBORAH, i have tried already ...even went to his homepage...i never received a reply.

as i have said, there must be something still operational here , on this site, otherwise why are we still able to contact each other.

it does seem that JON PAUL is allowing this site to remain active....however why no response from him is a mystery.

i am sorry i was not on here before now but it is a great deal of anticipation and no further writings from anyone other than us. i am disheartened.
