For Charlie

      In my past, I have been many things,
      Hero, Villian, Pauper, King.
      I have spoken as if I knew,
      even when it was never true.
      My life was an empty shell;
      not really heaven - more like hell.
      I tried to be clear in every way;
      even when I had naught to say.

      Time is over, choose to be real;
      knowing I had, again, to feel.
      How I wish that it would be done;
      this belief I have to find the one.
      Truly, lonely, filled with fright;
      hoping, praying I get it right.

      You appeared, stopped my sorrow;
      showed me that there is tomorrow.
      Like an angel descended from above;
      a true symbol of eternal love.
      Now, it is over, as it should be.
      I am finding me.
