More Poetry
I put this up originally for a bit of fun. I have never tried poetry before and it was written as a reaction to my ignorance! However, I received such useful and constructive feedback from Nina and Paul that I wanted to give it some proper attention. So here is my version 2 after some taking advice. As fun as it was, I am no poet and poetry is still shrouded in mystery for me even if the mists have been cleared a little for me by others! Thank you Nina and Paul!
I don’t understand poetry
The words seem to swim in front of me
I’m swept away by a stream of letters
Doubling up and doubling back
Leaving me lost and lonely
I am left feeling stupid
I don’t understand poetry.
