The lbrary in my town
Is in somebody's old house.
The family left it to us all
When their ancestors ran out.
It has floor to ceiling windows
And polished wood floors.
Fireplaces, wing chairs
And radiators that clank.
A foyer, a sitting room,
And stained glass reflections.
The books are shelved
In the old grand ballroom.
You can lose yourself up there
With a good book, a reading lamp,
A comfortable chair.
My imagination will take me
Any where,
But the library is my
Favorite place in the world,
So far. 1 comment
