soul mates

This entry will likely go down in Scribeslice history as the poem which should never have been born.I wrote it while half-awke.

I am brown
like the dirt of this town
they say I`m a gigolo of dubious renown
break it down
with pencil thin moustache
I smooth out my velvet
prose I suppose
to lure to my lair
naivety square

The grease of my sleaze
is slick as the cream of my dream
I pick pocket a lot
give me what you cannot
life savings are gone
before light of dawn
you knew I`d break
your heart, didn`t you, dear?

I, con.. confidence man
I sell Eskimo fridge
and learned how to take
and bake my own cake
my home and my
native`s land

I writs my own ticket
forget about that white picket
My home is the road
kiss me and I turn into toad
Forgives me I wrote
this trash at 3:00 in the morn
And my eyelids weigh tons
and iffen I could drink
that devil`s tea
I don`t suppose I would
I now leave you be
*goodnite:) 1 comment
