soul mates

I can`t explain this one either. They seem to come out of Nowhere and insist on nesting on my head until I release them onto paper.

I have not yet a title
no name have I for pride
I`m always searchin`
irreverent in my
ostentatious methods
to search out
what piques
my sense of Id
I know, bro
It reeks

I strike by Night
seep deep to the heart
of my brazen dark sight
to hope, to dream,to scheme
that I may take another`s
page of fame and call it my own

like a car with mindless driver
I seek to apply the break
of reason, in my own curious season
but it would not, could not
engage, because, you see
this pile of junk was funk with no
gear of Reverse, no edit button
that I could push
to make everything all right

So I became an accident
a stat on some random chart
they said my words fell short of Art
redundantly did I fail
to draw the tear
through crystal vail

no one could see through
my one act play
desiring to win the day
hey, grey clouds
come again another time
when I can better ryhme
