soul mates

I don`t believe in superstition. However, I do believe in Something greater than my darkest fears. With our present nuclear capability, I choose to believe that there is an unseen Hand which prevents our utter and complete annihilation in a moment of Time.

Tonight, I heard the owl
outside my place
but he didn`t call my name
nevertheless, I prayed
hoping it wasn`t for you

Superstition, flee
from my sight
don`t come `round
my happily everafter
go somewhere`s else
where evil meets with
your dreaded face

As for me
and my house
we will look to Him
for comfort`s
cherished embrace

tomorrow will be
as tomorrow will be
but, for now
let me dance
in the sunshine
of my preferred
mellowed fellow

Don`t spoil my child`s
with your unabashed rain
of silly superstition
don`t come reading my
cup of tea
or you`ll read my palm
on the side of
your face!
crazy ace.
