soul mates

This is my first effort, thanks to Leslie's suggestion in reply to his pyramidal poetry.   However, I decided to cheat a little by reversing and mirror imaging this poem.               Hope it makes sense?  It is all in the syllable steps 1 - 10 - 1.  We should all try this little exercise.

1.   Gone
2.   Too soon
3.   My mother
4.   She had a fall
5.   It started from there
6.   My friend and confidant
7.   One who always understood
8.   Taken, when we still needed her
9.   She was our mother, loving and true

10. Her lessons in life, were wise and solid

9.   She was our mother, loving and true
8.   Taken when we still needed her
7.   One who always understood
6.   My friend and confidant
5.   It started from there
4.   She had a fall
3.   My mother
2.   Too soon
1.   Gone!
