This piece is open to interpretation as to what  I mean; let all others see it as they wish.

As mankind sits in the squared, screened

dark of the artificial, celluloid world

the day of twenty-four frames commences.

The actors in their roles try to portray

the synthetic truths where everything has

closure if not reality.

Man watches, in awe, as the pablum is

unfurled and falsehoods are taken as life.

The suspension of disbelief is all that is

required to believe that the world is whole.

Pray for the fools who do not see; blindly

taking the truth as false. Who cannot

believe except as is presented even though

it is a lie.

Heaven help us all as we are betrayed and

cleansed of all proof that we are not the


The twenty-four frames are our lives and

that is all that seems to matter.

Let us sit in the dark worshipping "FILM"

as it proclaims, "This is your reality".
