I do not know what type of rhyming sequence this is, either. I never think on what I write, I just write as it is. In this case, this is actually a song since I heard a melody in my head as I was writing it.

Glad to know you still can 'hear' music in your head! I know I still do, all the time, it helps me cope!

I hear music all the time not just when I write. That being said, for my writings , if there is not a certain musical sequence flowing through my head when I write I change the flow of words/phrases until it all blends. All the contests I have written for say this is a normal progression in the manner of writing.

For Charlie

Living nowhere.

Seeking anywhere.

Searching for a place to be.

Journeying all around.

Traveling sideways, up, down.

Trying to find-just me.

Through the darkness of the night.

Praying for some guiding light.

Hoping for peace/harmony.

Reaching for everywhere.

Striving to escape-neverwhere.

Longing to be-forever free.

Salvation has not come to pass.

Redemption not meant to last.

I am lost: forgotten in eternity. 4 comments
