soul mates

Wrote base on the african slavery,it only makes me bitter wheneva i read about it,it made hate the white race, but now am friends with them and noticed they are really nice

Light-skinned
full hair
blurred eyes
figure tall
his achievement great
influenced with wealth
power and fame
respected by all
speeches profound
there goes a racist
he discriminates
and overlooks
blacks are cursed"i thought
thrown aside
and used at most
why such hatred
and pain' i cried
all but for colour
we are the same
why use our strenght
our women and children
captured to struggle
as nothing but slaves
you take our love
and emptied the lands
the elderly cry
day and night
in despair
helpless we were
in pain we strived
"oh",such pain i feel inside
why capture our people
culture and life
all that were light-skinned
i hated in rage
despise all and
swore to hate
but time has
passed
our freedom retrived
now older
i see the real truth
they might have been
so rude and saucy
but time has made
me come to acknowledge
that in all light and truth
the light-faced man
is one sweet race
so sincere,carin and understanding
my passion for them
with love
as friends and companion
i find great delight in them
though depressed
by the suffering of their captives
i still find a great sweetness in them 1 comment
