soul mates

Screaming through the trees, the “entity” moves

Unseen, except for the “tracks” of its passing

How can it have no body, and yet move the world around it?

Invisible, yet with substance

An unfair advantage, it seems,

Impossible, or at least improbable

Where does it come from?  Where is it going?

Who can fathom?  Who can tell?

Let it howl, let it roar around the house

It has no teeth, it cannot bite

It attacks us in many ways but mainly in our imaginations

Shhhh . . . I will hold you ‘till you feel safe 1 comment

Hush, my child, the wind will die in time, 1 comment

And you will not be bothered with its blustering
