soul mates

This poem is about people getting older and  not to over do it.

Some people say
You're getting older, it's not getting easier
Some people say
You're getting older but your looking better.

You can't win by what people say
They have there own opinions
when it comes down to age
The wrinkled face, the bags under your eyes
tells me you're getting on.

Some people say
You're getting older but your sex life is better
Some people say
You're getting older but you feel younger.

People are telling me
That you are looking well for your age
What is your secret to looking good?
You go to the gym to keep fit but be careful not to over do it
The aches and pains your out of breath
Tells me that you need to slow down.

You're as old as a bag of potatoes
So old and wrinkly
You can't bear to look at yourself in the mirror anymore
It's all too much for you.

It's part of life, we can't do a thing about old age.
