For Charlie

If you have trouble with the first stanza it would probably help to Read, "Willow Tales Part One: Wandering Willow"

After the forest swallowed her up
When Willow had lost her way,
All of the creatures felt sorry for her
And decided to visit each day.

At first she was angry and spoke not a word
Except to chase birds from her hair,
But as the days passed she soon realized
The creatures would always be there.   2 comments

Soon Willow had learned each of their names
And talked to them everyday
No longer were they strange creatures to her
But friends who were friends always

Rafa the owl built his nest in her branches
To sleep with her every night,
And Jenny the rabbit brought children to play
In her shade to Willow’s delight.

Willow got tickled as the bear Adele
Climbed her to get to some honey,
While Finnigan Fox told jokes and knock-knocks
Which Willow thought were quite funny.

Now Willow had found from her roots to her leaves
That something was growing inside
“Could this be the love I’ve heard so much of
If so then I’ll share it with pride.”

The forest was now Willow’s new home
And She loved it with all of her heart
she thinks back to the day she got lost
She knew it was meant from the start.
