HEAL

Please heal my hurting heart.
‘Cause I can’t even begin to start.
I don’t know where to begin,
To make the pain disappear, end.
What happened, what did I do?
I would change it, if I only knew.
Through this dark I can not forage.
My strength is drained, with hope and courage.
As if my heart has been cut in two.
I can’t fix it, no matter what I do.
Anger takes away everything I’ve got.
Everything important suddenly is not.
All I want to do is vanish, disappear.
Alone in the dark, alone with my fear.
How do I fight, how do I stand?
How do I change back this cruel land?
To before, find my half to make me whole.
I can’t do anything to save my soul.
No written prescription, no magic pill.
How do you teach a heart to heal?
