soul mates

It`s been four months now since that cruel old Man has wrapped us up in it`s dread polar vortex. Leave me be now while I moan pitifully within His icy grip. Oh, by the by...try to stay warm, won`t you, old bean?

you.. make me cringe
in my pathos
of feeble humanity
you clutch at my creaking bones
as if you.. you are
jealous of my mortal jags
of whimpering
pathetic tears

You... who easily
hides the sun
from these glimmering orbs
of fading memory
Oh, how I long to drink
once more
from Summer`s chalice!

Leave now, I tell you!
vanish as spritely
as you audaciously
barged into my already
crowded life! Old Man Winter
Why do you always take
what I can never replace?
my haggard face and
the years gone by
will swear to it

You, you spoiler of men's dreams
of finer climes
You, who spreads your ice blanket
over my fastly flickering blaze
of comfort Log
begone!, I tell you!
leave us now!
I beseech you!
