soul mates

A writing for readers.

Through the dusty shells of books I wander

Gleaning remembered feelings from each one

The workings of a past mind poured out

Upon the pages.   One not my own.
Creating the gleam.

Shining forth for all to see.

One holds my mind.

Here may our quiet revelry unlock the mysteries

Of communion between two minds

As I gladly remember the mixing of the two of us.

Once again your words fill me with longing

And recollections of times past

When we waltzed through the night,

Entwining our minds as lovers do their bodies.

Those dances will never end---

Those bittersweet remembrances

Of our times together lost in mutual

Thought and pleasure.

Though times will change, we will remain,

Forever wrapped in sweet accord.

Yes, life changes, yet I can always turn to you,

For you remain the same.
