soul mates

This poem is a true story about a dog, that followed me half way to work a few years ago.

One day I was just walking to work
Suddenly, a dog appears from nowhere to be seen.
I was wondering to myself, where is the owner of this dog?
Then I kept on walking on, as I make my way to work
I walked fast to get away
The dog walked faster, as I walked along the road.

I can't believe that the dog followed me,
From half of the way, on my way to work
I remember a member of staff, thinking that the dog is mine
But the dog didn't belong to me.
So when I got to work
The dog just walked away in the end.
