Just a Day with you

The world cup has started, so I thought that I need to write a world cup song for England, so we can get behind the team.

Come on England,
come on England
come on, come on, England
lets win it!

You wanna play for England, England, England?
You wanna play for England?
Oh yeah!
I'm the leader,
I'm the leader
I'm the leader of England.

48 years of hurt and we still keep talking about 1966,
but we need to move on, I know it was a good year
because we won the world cup.
but that was then and this now, so lets make history
in Brazil and bring the world cup back home to England.

Come on England,
come on England
come on, come on, England
lets win it!

You wanna play for England, England, England?
You wanna play for England?
Oh yeah!
I'm the leader,
I'm the leader
I'm the leader of England.

Nobody really thinks that England are gonna win the world cup
including myself, but maybe it's time to shock the nation
and show the whole world that we mean business.

What about penalties?

What about them, I know we have a poor record from the spot
I just hope it we do lose on penalties, I won't be in tears
like Paul Gascoigne in Italia 90.

I can't help reading the paper, about what Paulo Di Canio said
Saying 'England are rubbish'.
The funny thing is, he is only famous for pushing the referee over
and having zero international caps for Italy,
So what the hell does he know about international football?

Come on England,
come on England
come on, come on England
lets win the world cup.
