i see angels above me, i see demons below me, fighting over heaven.
i loved her more when i was sober.
love starts with that of a flickerin' cigarette
i swear i could feel your love before i knew your name.
bury my heart on the cold corner.

No matter how hard I try to get better,
it seems I'm destined to be this bitter.
The proof is inside every single metaphor
which I place down to die on this paper.

Despite getting sober, I seem unable
to express nothing but volumes of despair.
To be honest, it's starting to feel unfair-
some may even say, it boarders on torture. 1 comment

My dreams aren't haunted by memories
but instead glimpses of vivid images.
Tomorrow is shown like art in galleries,
behind my eyes what can't be just hangs-
reminding me of what I'll never possess.
Including my life long desire, the wishes
I've had since childhood, before angst's
took over, I used to dream of happiness.
