soul mates

My feet are sore
Walking all day, standing all eve
Exhaustion pours over me
The bubblegum sky calls to me
"Be with me little one, I want to play"
But I am ground stuck
In six inches of cheap black heels
What a beautiful place to burn
What a horrible way to go
And as I ache for the moon
Time slows
And I plant flowers in the creakiest parts of the clock.
