soul mates

Shades of truth emerge from error

White and black and grays set forth to meander

Upon the mottled canvas of life

“What is this?” I wonder aloud,

Searching for an answer that’s

Hung somewhere between

The bewildering complexity of right and wrong

“It must be simple to ascertain”

I quietly confide to myself,

“Though it perplexes me for now

I shall one day see brightness birthed from night”

“Equity shall grow;

The confusion shall be done away with,

And all will be set right;

I shall perceive clearly”

“Truth and error

Shall be separated,

And truth shall

Rise to the top

And I shall see only truth”
