soul mates

This writing contains explicit content and is only for adults. You have been warned.

I am meat.
I am the used jacket
in the clearance bin at a dollar store.
I am the rejected toy
in the factory.
Your toy.
Your useless heap,
good only for sex
and emotional release.
I sit idle
like a good dog.
Waiting for my turn between your legs.
You tell me it’s not the case,
But I know better than that.
I play along
because I’d rather swim in your ocean
than drown in my loneliness.
But once we’ve run our course
I’ll leave empty handed,
A vagrant wandering on
to the next dollar store parking lot.
Never meant to feel loved,
Meant only to be used and reused.
