For Charlie

The persona presented in the glass of transparency
reveals a tragedy of tears, life askew.
The sins of a lonely spirit beseeching all be cleansed of trangressions,
absolved of all pain.
Behold the wounded psyche of a tortured soul
whose only wish - to be redeemed.
Where is the salvation which is sought upon the other side of the glass -
peace, serenity,the perfection(?) of everything.
The green grass, blue sky;
all that is the reverse of this sad world;
one in which to share it all.
As the light of love shines through the polished steel,
brightening a time of sorrow.
A hope amongst the fears revealing the salvation of lost essence -
showing anything is possible
if one but believes that the mirror image of the soul,
heart, mind can ease all mortal turmoil.
When an angel passes beyond the speculum to be the dawn to the dark -
a brilliance to the shadow, the conclusion of a quest -
a soulmate to make a "forgotten" one complete.
Desiring that, all one needs is to look inside self and reflect.
