For Charlie

Please, do not leave me to my plight
as I struggle to make things right.
I stand alone...broken...shamed.
It is all on me, appoint the blame.
My time with you is at an end.
It is too late for an amend.
Know that it is my fate;
cannot repair this mournful state.
I weep,lament that you are gone.
Must forget you, just move on.
Wish that I could try again;
to be with you, now as then.
One last time, I plead my case
that I will accept all fault, disgrace.
Turns out it will never be,
that I must face reality.
You have spoken with disdain.
UNFORGIVEN...I exclaim.
