Alias: The Cat Who

Likes: Books, yarn, journals, sparklies (aka jewelry), really good wine, chocolate, free stuff, dogs (ironic I know), the color purple, anything creative (i.e. arts and crafts, writing), and little kids

Dislikes: Slow internet, no cellular service, stupid drivers, bugs, humidity, and frizzy hair

Favorite Book: Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden

Favorite Quote: "Where after all do universal human rights begin? In small places, closes to home - so close and so small that they cannot be seen on any map of the world. Yet they are the world of the individual person: The neighborhood he lives in; the school or college he attends; the factory, farm or office where he works. Such are the places where every man, woman, and child seeks equal justice, equal opportunity, equal dignity without discrimination. Unless these rights have meaning there, they have little meaning anywhere. Without concerted citizen action to uphold them close to home, we shall look in vain for progress in the larger world." -Eleanor Roosevelt

Literary Heroes: Anne of Green Gables, Katniss Everdeen

I enjoy writing because

I get to control the universe and the lives of my characters. MUAHAHAHA!

My best writing advice

Write as often as you can. Believe in your writing, believe that it has power and can move a nation.
