Just for Laughs- ScribeSlice funniest moments

The humorous writer professes to awaken and direct your love, your pity, your kindness--your scorn for untruth, pretension, imposture....He takes upon himself to be the week-day preacher.

"Notes on Thackeray's Essay on Swift" Mark Twain.

So what is funny? Everyone’s opinion of what constitutes humour which makes it the hardest medium to perfect, especially for stand-up comedians that risk humiliation if their jokes fall flat and they are left standing in front of a far from amused audience. At least with writing you do not have to be present when someone dismisses your humour with the contempt they feel it deserves.

Have a go at telling to readers of ScribeSlice your funniest story, joke or share some comedy you have witnessed or seen on television, movies or in a book. The only ground rules is that since this site is read by so many varying ages, cultures and sensitivities that you try and moderate your jests in such a way that it does not offend anyone in a malicious manner. If anyone feels victimized or insulted please message me or one of the ScribeSlice team.

Otherwise share a joke or write a funny story; Write something that brings a smile to someone's face and makes their day.

You can write something original, or quote from a source. Just remember to give name of the person who originally wrote it.
