soul mates

The last time we talked.

You left much unsaid.

For me to read your answers in your silence.

For me to hear what you cannot say.

About the private love that is ours.

Your words thought but not said.

You do not deny what I see in your eyes.

I might fill those silent moments with my words.

I would say all to you the things you must not say.

You are not free.

You are bound by duty and honor.

I speak for both of us.

You need only say no.

You do not.

You say nothing.
