looked up the meaning of akiumbu and found it referred to a certain body pose (hands on hips; elbows bent out etc). As a writer I thrive on words and am always grateful for any opportunity to increase my word-power/vocabulary. Thank-you for that Jim. Torn akiumbu is a very good phrase indeed.

soul mates

Three is the majic number.

Let not birds ride adieu

In regal splendor reign

Be not the visionary

Upon my visage claim

Fair ‘twert not the pain

That languished so

A bridge upon two waters

Past is long ago

Once was the coxswain

Billy upon his blast

Twice was the garbage scow sinking fast

Three was the number of the past

Long linked to saving grace

Upon the terror passed

Beyond that I know not

The pow’r of ill repute entered into

By all so rashly corrupted

And torn akiumbu

Joined to the last drop

From savings gone under 1 comment
