soul mates

From the moment of creation
you held your baby inside your body tightly
encased in protection

You fed, nourished, loved, cherished
you spoke, you sang, you prayed and
You named your child and they became a person straight away

When the timing was right and the signal began
your body became alert, ready for action

You were expectant of the pain but you were filled with excitement
You wanted to see your child and every pain meant the time was coming closer

God knows how scared you felt; you want nothing but the best for your child
God wants nothing but the best for His child

He knows what is needed and He shows you how to get it
like you were expectant of the miracle of your child

God is so excited for the miracles that He expects to come to you
His child encased in His loving arms.
