Leslie, are you saying that bliss should be capped or you are unsure what that phrase means.

For Charlie

Beyond the gates of infinity; down the path of eternal bliss
walk amongst the prophets that left us way too soon.

The ones who knew not that their time was short
but still preached in verse to guide us to our destiny. 2 comments

Not knowing their time would be prematurely taken they told
in tales of rhythm and sound of the wisdom of their dreams
in the hope that they could save our souls.

Please believe in forever that all of us will meet tomorrow
to raise our collective voice in stanzas and odes of life in
the choir of everywhere where we will all be scattered between
the stars to praise their collective faith.

In the hope that their visions of charity were not for nought,
bend your will to the righteousness of their truth and forever
uphold and beseech the spirit that they bestowed upon us all
and pass it on that their lessons are not lost.

Harmonize in your heart the melody that resounds through the
essence of your being to be not just the followers of the
lyrics but the new vanguard of the creation within us all.

If we, the custodians of their genius, do nothing further
with our lives, I pray, we harbor in ourselves their words
and music to teach the next lineage that the oracles left
too soon with their gospels uncompleted and messages
