soul mates

We were asked to write a descriptive piece beginning with this first line. I did try my best, but it didn't come easily for me.

The sun rose, Yellow as a quince
Settling Orange as a pill of Vitamin C
Shinning, burning, bronzed brown bodies
Drowning red, in the abyss of the silent sea

The moon rose bright, in the darkened sky
White reflections, lighting sleepy hollows
Werewolf’s whining and even lunatics crying
Full moon dominates, like there’s no tomorrows

Bright stars twinkling, or are they winking?
The Milky Way leads and stars seem to follow
Bringing wishes and images upon this earth
For all those romantics, willing to swallow

A magpie sings his colourful songs of praise
Joy unto the world, the tune seems to say
Pity that the pies don’t follow their mascot
Soaring high, singing flat, to their dismay

A solitary tree stands tall as a skyscraper
Straight as an honest man on H2O
Green as a garden, of newly grown lawn
Shedding skin, as seasons come and go

The weather brings change, we need it all
Our well being depends, on the four seasons
At times they come all at once, in a day
Hence our mood changes, those are the reasons
